Abergele Cattle breed - Ethiopian Cattle
Abergele cattle is one of the most popular cow breed in north Ethiopia. This breed provide both of meat and milk. Even people of Ethiopia use it for Draught as well. But you will not get it in top list. The Abergele breed is known worldwide because it can cope with drier lowlands and hotter. It can prevent disease and survive in feed shortage during dry season. A maximum male Abergele breed gets 220–250 kilograms and female 140–170 kilograms. Typically it have red and black coat. Its horn is medium size.
